The Punjab government has changed its plan of shifting entire commerce stream from Technical Education & Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) to the Higher Education Department Punjab, it is learnt.
Under the new plan, the TEVTA institutes offering Diploma in Commerce (DCom) would stay with the TEVTA while its colleges offering BCom and MCom degrees would be shifted to Higher Education Department.
