Punjab chief minister Shahbaz Sharif has approved the name of Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran as vice chancellor of the Punjab University, it is learnt.
The summary has now been moved to Governor/Chancellor Sardar Latif Khan Khosa who will formally approve the appointment on advice of the chief minister.
It is pertinent to mention that the Higher Education Department, Punjab, on recommendations of the VC Search Committee, had forwarded a panel – comprising Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran,
