PUNJAB Governor/Chancellor Sardar Latif Khan Khosa has approved the appointment of Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran as vice chancellor of Punjab University, it is learnt. Dr Kamran’s name for the post was recommended by Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif through a summary moved to the governor/chancellor a couple of days back.
Sources said on Saturday the Governor’s House sent back the summary, approving Dr Kamran as the PU VC. The Chief Minister’s Secretariat will send the
