LAHORE: (Monday, January 02, 2012): Appointed on January 3, 2008, four-year tenure of Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran as Punjab University Vice-Chancellor completed here today. During his period as Vice-Chancellor, Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran took revolutionary steps for the progress of the varsity. Under his leadership, following are the major developments in his tenure:
1. Streamlining of PhD program has resulted in an almost 3 fold increase in PhD production from an average of 41 during 1990-2007
