30 SU students briefly held for blocking highway Administration’s appeal PROCESSION different universities

HYDERABAD, Feb 20: Thirty students of the Sindh University, including girls, were briefly put under arrest on Monday for obstructing traffic and blocking the Super Highway during a protest in favour of agitating university teachers.

The students had blocked the highway at Jamshoro toll plaza.

The teachers launched a movement, including boycott of classes, after the murder of Prof Basheer Ahmed Channar, director of student affairs, on the campus on Jan 2.

Their demands are: remove Vice
