THIS is about the health-related programme on an entertainment TV channel aired on Feb 15. During the show many misconceptions about oral polio vaccines were propagated and incorrect information was given to viewers.
This has probably caused an irreparable damage to a campaign against a serious disease which has been eradicated from all other parts of the world.
It is imperative that such shows be regulated so that such mishaps do not occur in future.
