Lahore High Court chief justice on Friday summoned record of Search Committee on a petition challenging reappointment of Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran as Punjab University vice chancellor.
During the course of the hearing, CJ Sheikh Azmat Saeed remarked that the dignity of such a historic educational institute would be maintained. The judge said the institute produced many learned people. He also took pride in being a former student of the Punjab University.
