Nurses at Sheikh Zayed end protest
LAHORE: The nurses of Sheikh Zayed Medical College and Hospital (SZMCH) called off their protest after being assured of increase in their stipend and privileges.
Dozens of nurses had gathered to stage a protest, demanding increase in their salaries. However, SZMCH administration locked the gates of the hostel, confining nurses for at least three hours. The SZMCH assistant administrator said the step was taken to ensure discipline in the hospital. Upon
