Spending a restless Saturday night without power, twisting and turning in their beds, most citizens of Karachi could never have imagined that the Karachi Electric Supply Company’s (KESC) electricity transmission network had collapsed due to something as trivial as the moisture in the air.
The KESC apologised to citizens for the unusual outage and thanked them for their patience.
Most of the city plunged into darkness at around 8:30pm on Saturday
