KARACHI – After serving 17 years at the Nadirshaw Edulji Dinshaw (NED) University of Engineering and Technology, Engineer Abul Kalam will step down as vice-chancellorship today (Monday), as the Sindh governor has appointed Dr Muhammad Afzal Haque as new vice-chancellor for the country’s leading engineering university.
Keeping order at university, as Kalam successfully did, will be a challenge for the incoming vice-chancellor.
