Is culture a stumbling block to international corporation?
Immense debate has already gone into the phenomenon we call the ‘role of culture’ in world politics- yet, the dilemma of the issue at hand is, if it is the cultures that breed much of the trouble between nations. I wish to explore at length if the Samuel P. Huntington’s (1993) conclusion that, “the great divisions among humankind and the dominating source of conflict will be cultural” (pg.1) really holds water in the increasingly globalized world we live in?
