ISLAMABAD: The Finance Ministry of Pakistan has decided to provide the HEC Rs 9 billion. The decision was taken during a meeting between HEC Chairman Javed Leghari and Finance Minister Saleem Mandviwalla. Leghari informed Mandviwalla about the financial difficulties being faced by universities.
The Finance Ministry had to release the quarterly amount of Rs 12 billion to HEC for the current fiscal year 2012-13; however, the HEC did not receive its due installment in January 2013. Due to which
