PESHAWAR: Despite a ban on corporal punishment, the headmaster of a public sector school at Jahangirpura in the provincial metropolis allegedly beat up black and blue a grade two student that left scars on his legs and made him unconscious.
The local people told The News the student, Mohammad Yasin, was taken to the nearby health facility for treatment after his condition worsened.The parents of the affected student and residents of the area expressed concern over the incident
