Amna Bibi has been living on the sidewalk outside the Sindh Institute of Urology and Transplantation (SIUT) for just over a week.
It is not as though the elderly woman from the Vehari town of Punjab is homeless, but her medical condition leaves her little choice. When both her kidneys failed, she, along with her son and husband, went to the out patient department (OPD) of the SIUT, hoping to get a transplant. Muhammad Arshad, her son, would donate one
