Decline in book reading habit

PESHAWAR: Speakers at a seminar Tuesday expressed concern over the declining trend of book reading among the people, as 85 percent of the total population of the country does not visit libraries to read or borrow books.

 

The seminar was arranged by the Peshawar University Libraries Association to commemorate the UNESCO World Book and Copyright Day. Vice Chancellor UoP Prof Dr Muhammad Rasul Jan was the chief guest.
