Eye disease treatment center set up

KARACHI: Vision Foundation, a non governmental organisation, has established a Retinitis Pigmentosa (RP) Centre in Karachi with cooperation of another NGO to treat people with chronic eye diseases. RP is an inherited eye disease that causes severe vision impairment and often blindness. According to a study, one out of 3700 people suffers from this incurable disease in the world.
