Health Tips: Family dinners

Putting a healthy dinner on the table for your family each night can be a daunting task.

 

The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics mentions these suggestions to help you plan ahead:

 

Health Tips

 

* Create a menu for a whole week’s worth of dinners at once.

 

* Stock up on items that are quick and easy to fix, such as rice, pasta, beans and canned or frozen veggies.

 

* Cook extra servings of beef or chicken, to freeze
