ISLAMABAD : As many as 25 girl students of Jamia Hafsa on Wednesday tore banners and posters of Dr Amjad, a candidate for NA-48, at Jinnah Avenue. The poster also carried pictures of former president Pervez Musharraf.
Traffic on the road remained stranded as students were carrying knives in and were cutting banners and posters.
Although some police officials were present there, they did not interfere because of the sensitivity of the issue.
