World Hemophilia Day today
ISLAMABAD: World Hemophilia Day will be observed on April 17 across the world to advocate a global effort to ensure appropriate care and treatment for a disease that is the oldest known genetic bleeding disorder caused by genetic deficiency. Even as the country emphasises on headline-grabbing ailments, hemophilia, a little known blood disorder, is turning out to be a plague with over 50,000 people affected.
