ISLAMABAD : Although the law does not allow a government servant or a person working in a public sector department even on a contractual basis to contest elections, Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) managing director Mir Shahjahan Khetran tried his luck on May 11 and after losing the race resumed his job, it has been learnt.
On April 6, an application was filed with the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) against Mr Khetran’s filing of nomination papers to contest elections
