The Fata education secretariat has converted 25 Urdu medium government schools into English medium in Khyber Agency.
These schools include five high and 20 primary schools with ten for girls and the rest for boys. Agency education officer Ateequr Rehman told Dawn on Monday that a training programme for teachers of these English medium schools was under progress. “My department is trying to raise a new cadre of teachers for these schools,” he said.
