The federal government colleges have increased fee by three and four times for the year 2013-14, sources said on Tuesday.
The increase has come as a shock for the poor parents who cannot afford the raise, Dawn has learnt.
The residents of federal capital preferably go for private colleges. But those who cannot afford their fee prefer model colleges.
But for the parents whose monthly income is less than Rs20,000 the FG college was the best option.
