Absentee teachers warned
SWABI, District education officer Siraj Mohammad on Wednesday paid surprise visit to various schools here after public complaints about teachers absenteeism.
Sources told Dawn that EDO along with staff of his office visited schools in Maneri Bala, Maini, Batakara and other localities, and held meetings with principals/headmasters and teachers of schools. He sought teachers’ opinion on how to boost education, increase enrollment and resolve other problems.
