Education budget to be doubled

Minister of State for Education Balighur Rehman says the government will double the education budget from two to four percent during the next five years. Speaking at a function in Islamabad he said article 25-A of the constitution makes education a fundamental right of all children. It also calls for provision of free and compulsory education to all children of age five to sixteen year. ISLAMABAD
