Johns Hopkins dean apologises for ordering NSA-related blog removed

The Maryland headquarters of the NSA, which has ties to Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory. Whistleblower Edward Snowden worked as a data miner for the NSA in Hawaii.
A Johns Hopkins University dean has apologised and insisted he is "supportive of academic freedom" after ordering a cryptography professor to take down a blog post which criticised the National Security Agency.
