ISLAMABAD, The Khaas Gallery made a comeback after a year of closure with an exhibition of paintings that took the art lovers to Komail Aijazuddin’s earliest work - the Muslim Icon series - on Tuesday evening.
As many as 18 portraits of diverse range of people were put on display in the gallery.
Some of the paintings included Icon: Tala, Icon: Mustafa, and Icon: Sami. These combined play on patterns from the Muslim traditions of design functioning as re-imagined haloes, and on the
