LAHORE, The Lahore Waste Management Company (LWMC) has paid the first instalment of arrears to its skilled, regular and unskilled workers.
The first instalment of Rs17.537 million dues has been deposited in bank accounts of workers, the second Rs17.904 million will be released next week while the third and last one will be paid before Eidul Azha, says a spokesperson on Saturday.
The increase in basic pay and conveyance allowance was announced by the Punjab government in June 2013
