KHAIRPUR, A large number of growers protested against shortage of irrigation water at the tail-end of Faiz Gunj Wah, Veeho Wah, Pandhro Wah and Ali Nawaz Minor on Saturday at Jalal Chowdagi, some 100 kilometres from here.
They said that irrigation officials had pledged to provide irrigation water within three days, but still the water was awaited and their crops were deprived of water.
