KARACHI, The Karachi Electric Supply Company (KESC) on Wednesday expressed concern over a sudden decrease in gas supply by the Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) to its power plants which, it says, has affected the generation capacity.
The KESC has appealed to the federal government to order restoration of 220 millions of cubic feet per day (MMCFD) gas supply level, which has decreased to 150MMCFD, in order to continue with the present plan of loadshedding in the city.
