Rawalpindi Regional Transport Authority (RTA) has ordered owners of pick and drop school vans to remove the CNG cylinders from their vehicles and to ensure route permits and fitness certificates on urgent basis.
RTA also issued ultimatum of 24 hours to all types of public transport vehicle owners to remove the CNG cylinders from below the seats and in passenger cabin, and after this a grand operation will start on all transport stations and main roads. Four teams have been formed for this
