Sow certified potato varieties starts from October 1 and lasts till October 20.
The most suitable time for potato cultivation starts from October 1 and lasts till October 20. A spokesman for the agriculture department said on Saturday that growers should start making preparations for potato sowing besides arranging for required agriculture inputs. He said that farmers were advised to sow certified and disease resistant seeds.
