PESHAWAR: Participants of a seminar on the International Women’s Day on Friday called for educating girls and empowering women through enactment of tangible legislation and its implementation to tackle violence and discrimination against them.
Various public and private organisations arranged seminars, conferences and interactive programmes to highlight the plight of the women deprived of their basic rights.
