The University of Karachi is out of its financial mess — at least for the time being.
The finance director of the university, Qazi Zafar Abbas, has revealed that the federal finance department has released Rs9billion as additional funds to the Higher Education Commission, of which the university is expecting to receive its share shortly.
The university also received an installment of Rs116million through which salaries have been paid
