Modern libraries are increasingly being redefined as places where unrestricted information from different sources is accessed. This was stated by the chancellor of the Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology (SSUET), ZA Nizami, on Wednesday.

He was speaking at a seminar organised by the SSUET in collaboration with the Social Students’ Forum on ‘Islami Tareekh Main Kutubkhanon Ki Ahmiat’ (Importance of Libraries in Islamic History) at the SUUET.
