PESHAWAR: The Higher Education Department (HED), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has repeated its recommendation to appoint Prof Dr Adnan Sarwar Khan as acting vice-chancellor of Islamia College University (ICU) and a formal notification of his appointment is expected today (Tuesday).
However, the senior faculty members of the university have pledged to resist appointment of anyone from outside the historic institution as its head. Sources told The News that the HED resubmitted a summary to the chief
