The dreaded dengue fever has claimed yet another victim in Karachi, the second this week, taking the disease’s death toll in the city this year to six.
Sixty-eight-year-old Ameen, a dengue patient, passed away at a hospital on Wednesday, July 24, the Dengue Surveillance Cell said on Friday.
Ameen was a resident of Gulshan-e-Iqbal and admitted to a private hospital on July 17.
According to the cell, 495 people have been diagnosed with the vector-borne disease in Karachi
