HEC to announce ranking of universities
ISLAMABAD: The Higher Education Commission (HEC) would announce the 2013 ranking of Pakistani universities on the basis of quality and research today (Friday). HEC Chairperson Dr Javaid R Laghari would share the ranking in a press conference to be held at the commission’s secretariat. He said the primary purpose of the ranking is to drive the higher education institutions (HEIs) towards improved quality and research and promote a culture of competition among HEIs of the country.
