ISLAMABAD: The Higher Education Commission (HEC) would follow merit-based criteria for implementing the laptop scheme recently announced by the government for the brilliant students from across the country.
This was stated by Higher Education Commission Chairman Dr Javaid R Laghari while talking to media.
He said the scheme for youth, after gaining great popularity in Punjab, was being expanded to the other parts of the country so that the outstanding students could be rewarded.
