ISLAMABAD: The detained principal accused in Rs100 billion Ogra scam Tauqeer Sadiq hinted during NAB’s interrogation that decision to raise unaccounted for gas (UFG) benchmark from 4.5 per cent to 7 per cent in 2010, causing losses of billions to national exchequer, was pre-planned.
Well placed sources told The News that Sadiq had disclosed during the investigations that Ogra’s member gas Mansoor Muzaffar Ali had told his interview panel in 2009 that he would raise the UFG benchmark
