KARACHI, July 3: Doctors of the Dow University of Health Sciences on Wednesday ‘successfully’ operated on two ‘profoundly deaf’ children on its Ojha campus.
This was the second of a series of sessions of implants the DUHS has planned to help people unable to afford expensive cochlear implants for their children.
The programme had started in December last year in which two children were implanted with what is generally called ‘bionic ears’.
