LAHORE, The Punjab government notified on Wednesday the Boilers and Pressure Vessels Amendment Act of 2013, moving towards the establishment of a regulatory system for ensuring safety in factories.
The subject was transferred to the province under the 18th Amendment but its failure to adopt the related law was rendering it unable to regulate boilers and pressure vessels in factories. —Staff
