LAHORE, Punjab Health Minister Khalil Tahir Sindhu says the government has a plan to provide transplant facilities within the country to the poor and deserving patients with liver cirrhosis.
This was stated by him while presiding over a meeting of a committee constituted by the chief minister to chalk out a programme for liver transplantation of poor patients within the country.
“The poor patients are mostly sent to India for liver transplantation on government expenses.”
