Every year hundreds of precious lives are wasted due to the killer disease thalassemia and these lives could be easily saved if the government strictly implements the mandatory pre-marriage thalassemia test as required under a recently passed thalassemia bill by the Sindh assembly, said Pasban Pakistan Altaf Shakoor.
