After the approval of formation of district education authorities by the Punjab government, teachers associations have started consultations to start a protest movement against the decision.
Expressing their resentment, the teachers said that this experiment of formation of the district education authorities had failed in the era of Ayub Khan in 1962, adding that the provincial government wanted to impose a failed system again.
