LARKANA, A group of teachers affiliated with the Mehran Teachers Association (MTA) began on Saturday a token hunger strike at the main gate of Jinnah Bagh for the acceptance of their demands.
The protesters said that their charter of demands had been submitted to the regional education director.
The teachers’ demands include restoration of son quota, preparation of accurate seniority lists of Junior School Teachers and Primary School Teachers for promotions.
