LAHORE PUNJAB University (PU) has reappointed a recently retired faculty member Dr Aurangzeb Alamgir on contract, it is learnt.
Prior to his retirement recently, Dr Aurangzeb Alamgir had also been performing his duties as an additional registrar of PU for the past many years.
The move is likely to stirring up trouble for the vice-chancellor who is alleged to have favoured Dr Aurangzeb, believed to be a close aide of the VC.
