LARKANA, : The Thalassaemia centre established at the children hospital within the Chandka Medical College Hospital Complex has had to restrict its services and capacity to a dismally low level for want of a few essential equipment and installation of the available ones.
Established in February 2010 at the CMCH central laboratory, the 10-bed centre was shifted to the children hospital in December 2012.
The centre was provided with haemoglobin electrophoresis machine, cell separator
