CDA installs wastewater treatment plants in I9
ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has installed two wastewater treatment plants with the capacity of 17 and 5 million gallons per day in Sector I9. A CDA official said the capacity of these sewerage treatment plants was sufficient to treat the city sewage.
However, there is no proper system of sewage treatment facility in areas like Bara Kahu, Bani Gala, Muslim Colony, Bari Imam and raw sewage is being dumped into fresh water
