LAHORE, A Punjab University student was run over and killed after she fell from the varsity bus at Model Town on Wednesday morning.
PU Institute of Communication Studies’ BS (Honours) first semester student Alisha Khalid, 20, fell from the bus which was packed beyond capacity. She was taken to Ittefaq Hospital where doctors pronounced her dead. The bus conductor got injured while driver Khurram fled.
The students alighted from the bus and demonstrated crying out against over-crowding
