Karachi Illegal immigrants residing in the city are a major security risk and ensuring their proper registration is imperative, said City Commissioner Shoaib Ahmed Siddiqui on Wednesday.
He said the authorities concerned needed to intensify efforts to register all alien citizens and enlist the help of the taskforce constituted specifically to find and register illegal immigrants.
Chairing a meeting regarding the matter, Siddiqui was informed by Deputy Commissioner West Ghanwar Ali
